Celebrate Global Week at UVA from October 19th to the 26th!
The week, which kicks off with Culturefest on Saturday, October 19th, features workshops, panels, and fairs about various global opportunities for students, such as working, researching, and studying abroad.
You can also hear from students and professionals about their diverse global experience on Grounds. Visit the Global Week tent in front of Peabody Hall, Monday to Friday, where you can get information about events, sign up for raffles, learn how to gain a global experience and more!

All of VISAS Programs Launch the week of September 23rd, 2019!

VISAS Cafe begins Wednesday, 9/25/19 with our 20th Year Kickoff celebration!  For this Wednesday only, VISAS Cafe will be held in the NAU/Gibson courtyard.  Join us from 6:30-7:30pm for snacks, games, and English conversation.

VISAS Cafe will be held every Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm in The Language Commons New Cabell Hall 298 beginning Wednesday, October 2nd thru December 4th. *excluding November 27th Thanksgiving Break*

The application window for Fall 2019 volunteers and international participants is now closed.

Please mark your calendars for the following two VISAS events coming up this week!

  • 9/17 New Volunteer Orientation from 7:30-9pm in Monroe 130 (for volunteers only)
  • 9/19 International Mixer from 6-7pm in the Language Commons NCH 298 (for volunteers and international participants)

As a reminder, all VISAS programming begins the week of Monday, 9/23/19.
