Applications for Spring 2015 VISAS Program

Volunteer & Learner roles are now closed.

Thank you for your applications!

Make sure to mark your calendars for our upcoming training dates!

Please make sure to check your emails for a confirmation email or an official response from one of our administrators. If you have not yet responded or confirmed your enrollment and you would still like to contribute to our program, please do so as soon as possible. If any issues have arisen or you would like to personally speak to an intern or faculty member, feel free to email us as you can at caelc@virginia.edu. Training is coming up next week so it is crucial that you get in contact with one of our administrators.

The deadline for your confirmation in our program is today: Friday, January 30th.

In addition to this, if you have been accepted to the VISAS program as a volunteer, you must attend a 90-minute training session, agree to fulfill the duties for your position, and touch base weekly with VISAS staff and other volunteers. At the training, you’ll be given guidelines and hints, ideas and resources.

The official training session will be held on

Monday, February 2nd from 8:30PM to 9:00 PM at Monroe Hall 130.

Makeup trainings are available for those who absolutely cannot make that time. Please contact your program’s coordinator and fill out your program placement confirmation (if you haven’t done so already) before Monday, February 2nd, 2015. If you have not already received any of this crucial information in an email, please contact us at caelc@virginia.edu or Liz Wittner at ew3p@virginia.edu immediately.
